YoungTech x Adam Burgh: Build Night with Bolt

The YoungTech community showed up for Build Night with Bolt, a collaboration with Adam Burgh. In just under two hours, participants built and published fully working apps. Check out some of the projects here→

A big thank you to  judges Akrita Agarwal and Craig Robinson for mentoring the coders, and of course Mallory Loar and Kate Trahan for providing all the builders with Bolt Pro accounts!

Founder Spotlight!

This month, we’re spotlighting two founders, working on some exciting projects.

Meet Kriti Goyal, a Machine Learning Engineer at Apple working on the Foundation Model.

Her journey into AI began in Bikaner, India, where opportunities for girls were often limited. While there, she watched this video from code.org and it changed her perspective on coding, showing her that with code, anyone can turn ideas into reality with just a laptop and internet connection.

She realized AI isn’t just the future, it’s a major amplifier of human potential, compressing decades of progress into months.

Her advice to YoungTech: “Don't just chase the wow moment of the demo. Fall in love with the rigorous process of turning that fragile sculpture into a hardened, dependable bridge. The world has a lot of impressive demos. What it needs are most trustworthy AI products that solve real problems at scale.”

Check out Kirti’s LinkedIn here.

Sirius Gu is building an AI-native play therapy solution for neurodivergent youth with autism and ADHD.

As a neurodivergent individual himself, Sirius has looked for solutions, but found nothing on the market that truly worked, so he decided to build it.

Sirius believes we are in the early days of two simultaneous technology shifts, Agentic AI and Spatial Computing. According to Sirius, when put together, these will redefine how humans interact with machines, starting with critical use cases for neurodivergent users.

Advice to YoungTech: “Build something you desperately need, regardless of what the market wants.”
