Member Spotlight:

Caleb John, CEO & Co-Founder - Pongo
A Seattle native, Caleb is one of the original members of YoungTech Seattle.
While still in highschool, Caleb founded his first company, Cedar Robotics, developing robot waiters for restaurants. He was featured in TechCrunch at age 16 for his remarkable work in robotics (you can check out his video interview here). He later joined Anduril to work on AI infrastructure for video retrieval, deploying software critical to national security for the US and its allies.
Following his tenure at Anduril, Caleb returned to the startup world to pursue building a new company, Pongo.
Pongo was accepted to Techstars Seattle in 2022 and, after a sizable pivot in mid 2023, has relaunched with great success in the AI knowledge retrieval space. They’ve developed a groundbreaking Semantic Filter technology which vastly improves accuracy while reducing cost for RAG-based AI applications.
