Member Spotlight:

Rolanda Fu, Investor - Madrona
Rolanda recently returned to Seattle to join Madrona, where she now invests in diverse technology themes across Madrona’s portfolio.
She was previously a management consultant at EY-Parthenon in Chicago, where she worked on strategic engagements for Fortune 500 C-suite leaders and managed junior associates on due diligences for private equity clients. Rolanda took a break from consulting to extern in impact investing at MIT Solve, where she helped the team invest globally in several tech startups including AI-assisted teleradiology, fintech for underbanked populations, and GenAI-driven sustainable consumer products. Her passion for startups and working with entrepreneurs extends back to her time at the University of Chicago, where she led efforts to centralize startup resources at the school level and headed one of the school’s largest entrepreneurship clubs running educational programming and pitch competitions; she also worked directly for and in a consulting capacity with several Chicago startups.
Her prior experiences have given her unique insights into what pain points new technologies can address across enterprise, consumer, education, healthcare, and more. As a Seattle native (and born in Vancouver), Rolanda is deeply passionate about investing in the entrepreneurship community in the PNW to find ways to accelerate local innovation and increase accessibility to building new companies.
